2011 Northeast Community Bootblack
Congrats to Jay Falcon of Boston, MA (and frequent MLW partcicipant) on his win of the 2011 Northeast Community Bootblack title. The contest was held in April in Providence RI. Watch for him as he competes in the International Community Bootblack contest in July during Dore Alley in San Francisco.
Northeast LeatherSIR and Leatherboy 2011
Congrats to Rick Valentino and Stephen Benson, both of Provincetown, on their recent win of Northeast LeatherSIR and Northeast Leatherboy 2011 in Providence RI on April 9. Rick also was 1st Runner-up of Maryland LeatherSIR 2004 and Mr. Hillside Leather 2005. Watch for them as they compete in International LeatherSIR/boy contest in July during Dore Alley in San Francisco AND as they judge the First Mate Contest this fall.
MLW Nominated by Pantheon of Leather
Just got word that Mates Leather Weekend hs been nominated to receive “Large Event of the Year” and “New England Regional” awards. Thank you to whoever nominated the event and thanks to ALL who have ever helped in any way to make the weekend a success – I could not do it without you! It’s a great thrill to be on the 15th run and more so to have raised $33,000 for the ASGCC.
