Event Schedule

Thank you for your interest in the Sixteenth Annual Mates Leather Weekend. Assembled is a great line-up of events that will keep you busy while still providing you the opportunity to shop, walk the beach, rest and eat.

Please review the schedule carefully as there are some changes from past years. Please remember to consult the Schedule of Events that is provided with your Event Pack – there is always the possibility of last minute changes.

Tentative 2012 Schedule of Events

Thursday, Sep-27

• 8PM – 10PM: PRIME THE PUMP
  • Bayside Betsy’s, 177 Commercial St
  • For those in town early, come on by Bayside Betsy’s as we “Prime The Pump” before the weekend begins. Hors d’oeuvres provided by Rick of Mates Leather Weekend.
    
• 10PM – 1AM: BOOT CAMP
  • Atlantic House, 6 Masonic Place
  • Shine up your boots and start your MLW “basic training” at this new event.
    

Friday, Sep-28

• 4PM – 8:30PM: WELCOME RECEPTION
  • The Club Purgatory, 9-11 Carver Street
  • Start your Friday night right at this meet and greet event and pick up or purchase your Event Pass. Free buffet from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Sponsored in part by the Watership Inn.
    
• 8PM – 10PM: Demo and Social
  • Full Kit Gear Shop, 192 Commercial St
  • Check out the newest MLW partner and see what gear they have to offer.
    
• 9:30PM – 1AM: UNIFORMS AND CIGARS
  • Paramount at the Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial Street
  • Military, firefighter, police… what’s your fantasy? Fire up your stogie under the stars or under the tent at this new sub-event for the cigar fetishist.
    

Saturday, Sep-29

• 11AM – 3PM: LEATHER MARKET, RAFFLE, & SCENT CONTEST
  • The Boatslip Resort, 161 Commercial St
  • Shop for the finest in leather & Fetish goods, or sell and trade your own gear.  Back by popular demand, The Scent Contest hosted by Puppy – come sniff out your favorite – proceeds benefit the ASGCC.

• 3PM – 5PM: PIERCING & PIZZA
  • Mooncusser Tattoo Studio, 3 Standish Street
    Grab a slice at this super cool studio and get a souvenir you will never forget: $50 piercings for MLW participants (jewelry included) by bratty boy Joey Alegrett, International Leatherboy 2007 & Great Lakes Alliance Leatherboy 2008.
    
• 6PM – 9PM: LEATHER TEA & MEET THE MEAT
  • Atlantic House, 6 Masonic Place
  • Not your mother’s tea…but your opportunity to meet the hot men vying for First Mate 2012. What will it take to get your vote?
    
• 9:30PM – 1AM: FIRST MATE CONTEST(Contest at 11 PM sharp)
  • Paramount at the Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial Street
  • Register at the Opening Reception or Leather Market for the contest and you could take home a $500.00 cash prize, a $100 gift certificate to Full Kit Gear Shop and the title First Mate 2011.
  • NO REGISTRANTS ACCEPTED after 2:30 PM. Right-click and save here for a printable First Mate Contestant registration form and drop it off when you pick up your pass on Friday.

• 11:30AM – 2PM: COOKOUT
  • Poolside at the Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial Street
  • Join us for hot dogs, hamburgers and salads, AND, show us your ink! Last year’s tattoo contest was a hit…now let’s see yours!
    
• 4PM – 8PM: FETISH PARTY:  GLADIATOR
  • The Vault, 247 Commercial Street
  • The BEST party of the year in Ptown…pull off your pants at this sticky, steamy annual favorite. As always, jockstraps encouraged and pants check available.
    
• 10:30 pm – 1 am: RUBBER BALL & CLOSING PARTY
  • The Club Purgatory, 9-11 Carver Street
  • Shine up your rubber and roll, bounce or slide up to Purgatory for this final MLW Event.
