The Fourteenth SNOWBOUND Leather Weekend was held February 25-27 and by all accounts was a great success with 200+ leather folks in town to celebrate brotherhood and charity.
Three days of events described as “A Winter Getaway with a Twist” concluded with the announcement of Mr. SNOWBOUND 2022, Cameron Peirce of Boston, MA, who brought in the most donations ($4,269.55) with his winter/leather-themed photo submission. The nine contestants collectively raised $17,804.40 for the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod, the largest amount raised in SNOWBOUND history. Handing off the Mr. SNOWBOUND sash was Andy Sell, Mr. SNOWBOUND 2020/21 of Boston, MA.
While there can be only one winner, it is equally important to applaud all contestants for their fund-raising efforts especially three contestants who brought in over $3,000.00 each, an outstanding contribution. They were Christopher “Cook” Puzio ($4,259.80) and Stephen Perkins ($4,198.50) and Bluf4414 ($3,233.40), .
Jay Falcon, 2011/2012 Northeast Community Bootblack, 2012 International Community Bootblack 1st Runner-up and SNOWBOUND/Mates Leather Weekend Resident Bootblack was performing his services throughout the weekend.
Kudos to the men who participated in the Free Health Screenings provided by the ASGCC at their Drop-In Center located at 148a Commercial St. Their proactive approach towards their health and the health of your partners should be mirrored and lauded. Thanks to Peter Johnston and the ASGCC team for providing this important service. asgcc.org
